Friendlies

A vibrant and supportive group that welcomes people who live with anxiety of mental health concerns.

What?

A vibrant, welcoming and supportive group where adults can come together for conversation, activities and outings. We particularly welcome people who live with anxiety and mental health concerns. Denys Friendlies is a safe space for individuals to make friends and take part in activities as part of a group.

We start by catching up with one another with our Morning Thoughts, and then we get our brains going with a word game. Then there's chance for people to play Uno, dominos or do some colouring.

Guest speakers also visit and talk about range of interesting and relevant topics.

Where?

On Mondays we get together in the Meeting Room of the Church Centre, sitting around the large table and having a cuppa together. On Thursday we meet in the Hall of the Church Centre in the winter months, and in the Main Church in the summer months.

When?

The main Friendlies session is on a Monday between 10am & 12 noon, and we meet most Mondays of the year, except for Bank Holidays. There's a smaller session most Thursdays. You can see the upcoming dates in the calendar below
