Discipleship Groups

Different kinds of groups work for different people and different life situations so we offer a range of ways for people to get together and support each other as friends and followers of Jesus.

Regular Small Groups

Our regular Small Groups meet approximately fortnightly and combine Bible Study, prayer and building friendship.  They often meet in a home or in a room at Church. We sometimes use resources from Lifebuilders or HTB, but often we use resources homegrown from within St Denys.

If you'd like to use some of our resources with your own small groups, wherever you are, feel free to...

Book Groups

Each Lent, we focus on a book that helps us grow as friends and followers of Jesus, connecting our faith with the lives that we live. Some people choose to simply read the book and reflect in it individually. Others choose to join a Lent Book Group. Books so far include 'Failure' by Emma Ineson, and 'How to be (Un)Successful' by Pete Portal.

Lent Book Groups are great for people who want to commit to a group just for a short period of time. Meeting three times throughout Lent and focusing on twp chapters from the chosen book each time, these groups always lead to thought-provoking discussions.
