Our hope for Christmas is that we can connect church, community and Christ in positive, creative and inspiring ways. 

This year we hosted a fantastic range of people into the services and celebrations held in the church buildings, welcomed Mary & Joseph in our homes, created an original Christmas song and video homespun in St Denys, and helped redistribute surplus food when the stores closed.  It was an amazing team effort by so many people, and I am immensely grateful to each person who helped out.

A fantastic team effort to assemble the Christingles ready for the service...

 ...and 230 folk came together for the Christingle service (and some achieved Sera's challenge of getting their Christingles all the way home before the candle went out!)

Marion, Kayleigh and Gavin (the Community Food Project coordinators) were able to arrange extra collections of surplus food which we were able to redistribute to a great variety of people on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
