'It'd be great if we could chat over a cuppa after the service'

'It's been ages since I've seen some folk, it'd be great to have a cuppa & chat.'

'I'm new to the church, and I'd love to get to know some people over a drink.'

We'd love to be able to start serving refreshments again from mid-September as we recognise it's a really important way for people to connect with one another. To be able to do this, we need volunteers who can help set up before the service, serve refreshments after, and help to clear away. We're conscious of the need to manage Covid-related risks, and we believe we can do this.

So we need a Refreshment Team. The more people we have, the more Sundays we'd be able to offer refreshments. 

Here's a brief outline of what we need the Refreshment Team to do:

- arrive at church at about 9.40 and set up the Refreshment Table (some things need bringing from the kitchen, others are already in the church) & turn the urn on.

- towards the end of the service, relocate to the Refreshment Table and prepare to serve & range of hot & cold drinks (and this includes hand sanitising etc during Covid season)

-clear away at about 11.30 by gathering crockery into the bowls ,and clearing away the supplies (you won't need to wash up as the kitchen is used by the Sunday Lunch Project.)
