Catriona and Sam - January Update

Catch up with the latest news from Cat and Sam:

Moving into the new term at Trinity college marked the halfway point on my (Catriona’s) ordination training. It feels very strange to think we have been in Bristol for as much time as we have left. In so many respects it has flown by but in other ways we are reminded of the time that has passed. We were overjoyed to be able to make a flying return to Southampton to see so many of you and celebrate Sera’s licencing. It was such a special evening and certainly tugged at our hearts, yearning to be amongst our Southampton family once more (why did we ever leave?!)

Sam has begun a new job as a music director for a church in Keynsham where he leads a robed choir, choristers and a small children’s choir as well! It is certainly keeping him busy and he is delighted to be back into ministry.  As for me the academic wheels keep on turning, the deadlines pile up as I perhaps foolishly attempt to complete a masters but I am enjoying the learning, even if I hate the assignments! We have properly settled into a new home much closer to the college which was certainly an answer to prayer!

As we slowly begin to look towards our time beyond Bristol and college, we would appreciate prayers for wisdom in where God is leading us and how our individual ministries yet combined lives might unfold.

All our love and prayers!
