We are sad to announce that after 7 years Riverside Pre-School will be CLOSING this summer and will no longer operate from St Denys Church Centre. In response to a falling birth rate locally and challenging issues around staffing, the Pre-School will instead be focussing its childcare on the Bitterne Park school site.

The Pre-School will maintain a presence in their upstairs office at St Denys (known as 'The Bubble') and discussions are in progress regarding the storage of other resources at our site.

The fall in numbers of families seeking pre-school care across Southampton and Hampshire generally means the City Council is not looking to offer the site to another provider, but we remain open to options and are considering our response. Any news and further changes will be reported here.
